Privacy Policy

Weather – Minimal Classic is a weather app in the style of a vintage weather journal, published by Stichting Le@f. The app works without an account, without advertising and without tracking.
Who is responsible
Stichting Le@f, Ampèrestraat 9, 1976 BE Velsen, the Netherlands (KVK 34140586, VAT NL815590921B01), info@stichtingleaf.nl.
Your location
If you allow location access, your coordinates are used on your device and sent to the weather service to fetch the forecast for that place. Your location is not stored by us and is not used for advertising or profiling.
What stays on your device
Your chosen place, units and settings are stored locally on your device. They disappear when you delete the app.
What we never collect
- no account, name or e-mail address;
- no advertising or device identifier;
- no location history;
- no analytics, crash-reporting or tracking SDKs.
Service providers
- Open-Meteo — the weather and forecast data (coordinates are sent with each request).
- RainViewer — the rain radar images.
- Apple Maps (iOS) and Google Maps (Android) — the map under the radar.
- Apple — speech synthesis and, if you enable it, device backup.
Speech
The spoken summary is produced by the speech engine of your operating system. We do not record audio and the app never uses your microphone.
Your rights
You can ask us for access, correction or deletion of data about you, and you can object to processing. Write to info@stichtingleaf.nl; we answer within 30 days. You may also complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
Changes
We update this policy when the app changes. The version and date above always show the current text.
